Our members are college professors, K-12 teachers, lawyers, GIS specialists and other applied geographers, community college instructors, students and retirees who hail from all over the Prairie State, from Rockford to Cairo. We've sponsored excursions on the Chicago River, summer and fall field work sessions, and many memorable field trips associated with our annual meetings. Become a member and get connected with other like-minded geographers! You'll also receive our peer-reviewed journal, Illinois Geographer,published twice yearly.
